The Best Four Years

Hey everyone! I hope you're having an amazing day! My day has been pretty laid back so I decided I would do an advice post. This year I'm going to be a sophomore in college, and freshman year was really difficult for me, so I decided to help you guys get through it. Freshman year is stressful to say the least. It's a new environment, new people, harder classes, and a load of responsibility. I went into college with the mindset that it would be like high school, and boy was I wrong. I've always been a bit of a procrastinator, which wasn't that big of a deal in high school, but in college it will make or break you. I also went into it taking classes that were too difficult for me and taking a bunch of hard classes at the same time (which I don't recommend). So college got off to a pretty rough start, not to mention, even though I was only 40 minutes from home I got extremely homesick. The way that I cured this was by making a lot of really great friends who helped take my mind off of things. I also got involved in a sorority. Getting involved in a group is a great way to start off your college experience. Throughout high school I was never involved in and groups, so being a part of one now makes me really happy. College is definitely a wakeup call, but if you prepare yourself correctly, there should be no problem! So to summarize: be prepared, get involved, don't overwhelm yourself with difficult classes, DON'T PROCRASTINATE, and try to enjoy yourself because as our parents say, college will be the best four years of our lives, even though it may seem like hell right now. I love you guys and I'll talk to you later!
