It Starts With the Brows

Hey everyone! So lately I have gotten so many complements on my eyebrows and questions about what I use to fill them in and what not. The answer? POWDER! It looks so much more natural than using a pencil, and is super easy to work with. The powder that I like is the E.L.F. Eyebrow Duo in medium. This duo comes with a powder and a gel for only $3 and it's amazing. It looks so natural, the only reason why people would wonder if you fill them in is because they look flawless. It also comes with a small applicator brush which I love to use. After I fill them in with the powder, I use a clear brow gel to keep down those little hairs that like to poke out and keep them looking good all day. My favorite brow gels are the E.L.F. Clear Brow Gloss and the Maybelline Great Lash Mascara in clear. Both are fantastic quality for a small price. If you have anymore questions don't hesitate to leave a comment! Love you and I'll talk to you later!

It's A Lifelong Sisterhood

Hey everyone! I'm sorry it's been so long, its been a crazy week. I moved into my sorority, then I went through initiation, and now we're getting ready for recruitment so I've been very busy! However, this experience has been simply amazing. My sisters mean the world to me and I'm so happy to be a part of such a wonderful group of girls. I know this is yet another non-beauty related blog post, but I assure you once I get settled into my new home a little more I'll be doing more posts, and I've been crafting a lot lately so if you want and DIY ideas let me know in the comments! I hope you're having a wonderful week and I'll talk to you later!

Crying On A Suitcase

Hey everyone! It's that time of year again. Most people have gone back to school already, but I don't move until this Wednesday and I'm excited but at the same time, like most people, I don't want summer to end. I don't think I'm as excited as I was last year, because at this point I already know how good it feels living on your own, and while it is a lot of fun, I'm the kind of person who gets home sick being away from home for a day. My school isn't even that far from my house, and yet I get so anxious leaving home to go back to school. So I've been spending the day packing up all my stuff and I was getting kind of sad because I'm not ready to leave yet, so I decided I would blog because it makes me happy. Sorry for being so rambly, and for not doing a beauty post in a while, it's been a hectic few weeks here. But I do want to mention that I tried out a few new products that I've been loving. Fist, I got Benefit They're Real mascara which I've been wanting to try for a while now and I love it! It's a pain to get off but looks amazing when you're wearing it. I also got a new Maybelline Color Whisper in  No. 45, Who Wore It Red-er. It's a gorgeous pinky-red and I've been obsessed with it because it's not quite as bold as a full red lip, but it's still a statement color. Well I think that's about it, I love you guys and I'll talk to you later!

Where Beauty Lies

Hey everyone! So I know this post may be strange coming from someone obsessed with makeup, but I really want to stress the importance of inner beauty. I know i know, you've heard it all before, and I'm not saying that you can't still be beautiful with makeup on, I'm just trying to say that makeup isn't meant to cover up everything that makes you unique. Makeup was created to enhance your natural beauty, but that doesn't mean you can't have fun with it and use colors that make you happy. It doesn't mean that you can only wear neutral eyeshadow. It just means that you don't have to wear a black smoky eye with thick eyeliner every single day, and a full face of makeup all the time. I for one love makeup and everything that you can do with it, but I know it's not for everyone and that's absolutely fine! If you're confident without any make up, then you go Glen Coco! If you feel better with some makeup, that's great too, I just think that everyone is beautiful with or without makeup, so just do what you're comfortable with, just do you. And in case you need proof, here's an example that inner beauty is what really counts. I love you guys and I'll talk to you later!

They Say I'm A Dreamer

Hey everyone! So as you know I recently went to see Taylor Swift and do some shopping. It was amazing and such a great weekend, but I definitely spent more money than intended, so some of the beauty products that I've been pining for are now going to have to wait a little longer. But, I thought I would let you in on the beauty products I want so badly, but can't currently afford.

1) MAC Soft & Gentle Mineralized Skin Finish: I've been wanting this product for so long, and have come close to buying it many times, but I have a hard time spending $30 on a product that I'm sure I can find a dupe for. However, this is such a gorgeous highlighting powder that no matter how many other products I try out, this one will probably always be at the top of my wish list.

2) Benefit Cosmetics High Beam: This is another highlighter that I've been lusting after for years, but it is once again out of my budget at the moment, so it's going to have to go on my Christmas list.

3) Smashbox Camera Ready BB Cream: I don't typically branch out when it comes to foundation. Once I find one that I like, I just stick with it. I love the tinted moisturizer from E.L.F. that I've been using for a while, but sometimes I think it would be nice to try a more high end foundation and give my skin the love it deserves!

4) Urban Decay Naked Palette: I absolutely LOVE the naked palettes! They're so beautiful, but so darn expensive! I cannot justify $50 for 12 eyeshadows, when I can find similar colors for a more reasonable price elsewhere. However, these colors are so pretty that I think they will definitely remain on my radar.

5) Sigma Essential Brush Kit in Mrs. Bunny: These brushes are amazing. I have had the pleasure of feeling how incredibly soft they are, but have never actually gotten to use them. $120 for 12 brushes may seem like a decent price to most people, considering the quality of the brushes, but for a college student on a budget it is ridiculously out of my price range, so I'll just have to keep admiring them online.

There are so many amazing products out there, these are only a few off of my long list of products that I want but currently can't have. I hope you enjoyed, be sure to let me know what you think in the comments! I'll talk to you later!
