I'm Only Human, and I Bleed When I Fall Down

Hey everyone! Recently I've been listening to a song that has probably some of the best lyrics I've heard in a while. It's called "Human" by Christina Perri and it's amazing. I've been working a lot lately on self confidence, as we all have things that we struggle with, but I've come to realize that at the end of the day, it's not about how others see you or what they think about your decisions, its about you and how you want to live your life. I've also been watching the Dove Real Beauty commercials on YouTube. Obviously I love makeup. I believe it can transform people, but it's also a creative outlet. That being said, you by no means need to wear makeup to feel beautiful or try to look like models to feel prettier because guess what. Even those models don't look the way they do in magazines and on billboards. I think it can be hard, especially when you love makeup as much as I do, to appreciate everything that's beautiful about every individual. I know this was kind of rambly, I just want to all to remember how beautiful you are. It can be easy to forget and let other people's words bring you down, but the courage and confidence that it takes to build yourself back up will only make you more stronger and even more radiant. I love you all and I'll talk to you very soon.

Wake Up, Flawless

Hey everyone! As promised, I am finally doing another review. I wanted to do a tutorial on how I apply the foundation I'm going to be talking about, but seeing as though I don't have a descent camera, a review will have to suffice. For the last few months I have been loving the Covergirl Outlast Stay Fabulous 3-in-1 Foundation. My color is in 310 Classic Ivory for reference. This foundation is amazing. It has the perfect amount of coverage for my skin and blends so smoothly. I also love the fact that it's a liquid when you put it on, but once it dries it turns into more of a powder. I know many people probably wouldn't like this effect, but I think it looks so natural and flawless. That being said, while I don't have perfect skin, my problem areas are small. My biggest issue when it comes to my skin is redness, and this foundation helps dull that so effortlessly. If you are someone who suffers from acne or acne scarring, I would suggest using a more full coverage concealer under this foundation if you want airbrushed skin. This foundation is a bit pricy for drugstore foundation, but it's still very affordable, ranging from $8-12. That's pretty much all I have to say about this product, but let me know what you think if you try it out and I'll talk to you later!

Where Have I Been?

Hey everyone! I want to just post quickly to let you all know what's been going on and why I've been so busy. I'm currently working on a review, but for now I just wanted to chat. My last post was almost two months ago which is insane because it feels like it was just last week! As you probably all know by now, I'm in school and my living situation changed at the beginning of winter term. Not only did I move home, but I changed schools for the term. This situation was supposed to be until the fall, but one thing led to another, and now I'm back at the university I was originally enrolled in and am back to living in my sorority. That being said, a lot has happened, it's been an emotional few months, but I'm back where I belong and couldn't be happier. I hope you all understand that, being in college, I can't post as often as I would like to, but I'm working on making my blog a higher priority. Obviously, school comes first, but you matter to me too. Anyway, I hope you're all enjoying spring term/second semester so far and I'll talk to you later! Love you!
