I Wrapped It Up and Sent It

Hello everyone! Merry Christmas!! I hope you all had a wonderful day and not only got everything you asked for, but also gave other people what they had wanted. I for one am very excited because I got a tablet that I have been wanting for school as well as MAC mineralized skin finish in soft and gentle which I have been wanted for a long time as I mentioned in my "They Say I'm a Dreamer" post. I also got some smaller things, but my big present was my vanity which I have mentioned in previous posts that I got earlier this summer. I was feeling fancy today, so I decided to do my makeup. I know, I do my makeup almost everyday. BUT, I don't usually bother on Christmas because my family is very laid back and we don't really do much, so normally I just wear my pajamas with my hair in a ponytail and no makeup. Today I did my makeup similarly to how I did it yesterday, but I mixed the gold that I used in my crease with a light green so it added a subtle Christmas-y hint. Anyway, I hope you had a fantastic Christmas and I will talk to you all later!

It's the Most Wonderful Time of the Year

Hey everyone! Merry Christmas Eve! If you're like me, you're probably spending the day doing some shopping that you should have done a while ago, but better late than never right? Lately I haven't posted any makeup posts because I've been doing my makeup the same everyday and it's really simple and boring, but today I spiced things up a little bit. I still used neutrals, as always, but I decided to go for a more smokey effect. Using a Maybelline Color Tattoo in Bad to the Bronze and a Wet N' Wild palette in Sparkle Til' Morning, I used the color tattoo all over my lid, then on top of that I put a sparkly champagne color. Then I used gold on the crease and a dark brown in my outer corner. I finished off my eyes with liquid liner and mascara, then used a Maybelline Color Whisper in Who Wore It Redder. It's still pretty simple but it's a little bit darker than I'm used to wearing it and I like it! I hope you all have a fantastic Christmas Eve and an even more wonderful Christmas!

Everything Happens for a Reason

Hey everyone! Today I wanted to get on a little bit of a deeper level with you. You know when people tell you that everything happens for a reason right after something terrible happens and you can't help but think that someone's out to get you? That's how I've been feeling. I've recently had to make some pretty major life decisions to do what's best for me and it definitely hasn't been easy. Many buckets of tears have been shed, but I know that eventually everything will work itself out because I have an amazing support system at home and I have this blog which is something that is very important to me. Not only does it make me happy knowing that people are seeing it and enjoying what I have to say, but it's also very therapeutic. Plus, along with these life changes I'll have more free time to blog and hopefully get more makeup posts up for you all, but in the mean time, I hope you enjoyed this rambly blog, leave me comments with requests, and I'll talk to you later!

Let It Snow Let It Snow Let It Snow!

Hey everyone! I'm super excited because it snowed on Friday! It hardly ever snowed where I live and it snowed quite a bit, but the only problem i that the roads didn't get plowed so it's super icy out and therefore, I can't drive. BUT, classes on Friday got cancelled and finals are having to be rescheduled so that means more study time for me! Woohoo! And I know I promised a Black Friday haul but I didn't have time to take any pictures of the things I got with all the studying, but here it goes:

Old Navy:
Green military-style jacket: $20
Navy blue puffy vest: $15
Black sweater-print tights: $5

Fred Meyer:
Tons of socks all for 1/2 off
Dark green tights: $3.50
Black tights: $3.50
Maroon tights: $3.50

And believe it or not, that's all I got! So leave comments below with what you got and with requests for future posts and I'll talk to you later!

I Thank God I Have You

Happy Thanksgiving everyone! This year I'm thankful for so many things including my family, friends, Chi Omega sisters, and all of the opportunities that life presents to me, but I'm also extremely thankful for all of you and that I have a place where I can write my feelings and opinions for you all to enjoy :). As most of you know, Black Friday shopping starts tonight! Where I live, most of the stores are opening at 8 which is too early for me, I mean it's still Thanksgiving! So instead I've been doing most of my shopping online and in the morning I'll be going to a few more stores, so you better believe I'll be doing a haul! Anyways, I hope you're all having a wonderful Thanksgiving and I'll talk to you later!

You Are The Wind Beneath My Wings

Hey everyone! I have some really exciting news! I recently hit 1016 page views which is absolutely amazing! I can't thank you guys enough because when I first started this blog, I honestly didn't think that people would look at it (other than my parents), and now I've reached over 1000 page views which is just incredible, so thank you so much! On another note, I'm sorry I didn't post very many Halloween looks, and even though it's past the days of dressing like someone you're not, I wanted to show you guys my vampire makeup that I did on Halloween. It was pretty creepy looking and I wasn't sure how I felt about the overall idea, but it was a nice change from all of the girls who just dress as a cat. So for the makeup, I started by adding a little bit of white face paint to my normal foundation to make me look more pale, then I moved onto eyes and started by blending out some black gel eyeliner on my lid. Then I used a black eyeshadow on top of that to set it. Next I took a red (I know, who owns red eyeshadow?) and blended that into my crease and took it pretty far below my eyes to create really big, dark under-eye circles. After that I took a blue eyeshadow and put that right where you would normally get bags under your eyes to make the illusion that my eyes were sunken in. I finished the eye look off with  liquid eyeliner on my top lid, black gel eyeliner on my lower lash-line/waterline, and used a really bold mascara. As for lips, I obviously had to go bold, so I used a dark red lipstick and added black eyeshadow to just the outer corners of my lips to give it kind of an ombre look. Then to tie the whole makeup look together, I took fake blood and let it drip down from the corner of my mouth. For my hair, I just teased it a lot to make it really messy and clipped the tom half up with a black bow. I decided to keep my outfit really simple and just wore a black dress with black converse.

Lions and Tigers and Mice, Oh My!

Hey everyone! I am so so so sorry it's been forever since my last post! I hope you're all enjoying your fall! As you well know, Halloween is right around the corner and I know this is a big weekend for parties among high school and college students, so I just wanted to ask what you're all dressing up as for Halloween? I decided to dress up as a mouse by wearing a pink shirt tucked into a high-waisted black lace skirt with black tights, black boots, and black mouse ears. As for my makeup, I decided to do a subtle smoky eye using silver on my lid, light pink in my crease, and black in my outer corner.
I also drew on whiskers and a nose using liquid eyeliner, and just wore my hair down straight. But anyways, that's it for my Halloween costume so leave a comment with what you're going to be! And as a side note, please be safe! I know you've heard it before, but it's true that Halloween can be a very dangerous Holliday, so make sure you never walk home alone and if you're going to be drinking, just be safe and don't take drinks from anyone. I love you guys, missed you, and I'll talk to you later!

It's a Lifelong Commitment

Hey everyone! Sorority recruitment started on Wednesday and continues tomorrow through Tuesday, so I'm super excited to meet new people and get to talk to complete strangers. If any of you are going through recruitment, the biggest tip I can give you is be yourself. Put all your nerves aside because everyone is nervous, it's not just you. And like I said, just be yourself because you want to choose a house that will accept you for who you really are, not who you're trying to be to impress them. I learned this about halfway through my formal recruitment last year, and after I just relaxed and didn't try to put up a front, I found an amazing group of women that I can count on for anything. I'm so incredibly happy with my choice, and if any of you go through recruitment and decide to join a house, I hope you find the sisterhood that I found and the network that I have immersed myself in. As always, if you have any questions leave a comment and I'll talk to you later!

It Starts With the Brows

Hey everyone! So lately I have gotten so many complements on my eyebrows and questions about what I use to fill them in and what not. The answer? POWDER! It looks so much more natural than using a pencil, and is super easy to work with. The powder that I like is the E.L.F. Eyebrow Duo in medium. This duo comes with a powder and a gel for only $3 and it's amazing. It looks so natural, the only reason why people would wonder if you fill them in is because they look flawless. It also comes with a small applicator brush which I love to use. After I fill them in with the powder, I use a clear brow gel to keep down those little hairs that like to poke out and keep them looking good all day. My favorite brow gels are the E.L.F. Clear Brow Gloss and the Maybelline Great Lash Mascara in clear. Both are fantastic quality for a small price. If you have anymore questions don't hesitate to leave a comment! Love you and I'll talk to you later!

It's A Lifelong Sisterhood

Hey everyone! I'm sorry it's been so long, its been a crazy week. I moved into my sorority, then I went through initiation, and now we're getting ready for recruitment so I've been very busy! However, this experience has been simply amazing. My sisters mean the world to me and I'm so happy to be a part of such a wonderful group of girls. I know this is yet another non-beauty related blog post, but I assure you once I get settled into my new home a little more I'll be doing more posts, and I've been crafting a lot lately so if you want and DIY ideas let me know in the comments! I hope you're having a wonderful week and I'll talk to you later!

Crying On A Suitcase

Hey everyone! It's that time of year again. Most people have gone back to school already, but I don't move until this Wednesday and I'm excited but at the same time, like most people, I don't want summer to end. I don't think I'm as excited as I was last year, because at this point I already know how good it feels living on your own, and while it is a lot of fun, I'm the kind of person who gets home sick being away from home for a day. My school isn't even that far from my house, and yet I get so anxious leaving home to go back to school. So I've been spending the day packing up all my stuff and I was getting kind of sad because I'm not ready to leave yet, so I decided I would blog because it makes me happy. Sorry for being so rambly, and for not doing a beauty post in a while, it's been a hectic few weeks here. But I do want to mention that I tried out a few new products that I've been loving. Fist, I got Benefit They're Real mascara which I've been wanting to try for a while now and I love it! It's a pain to get off but looks amazing when you're wearing it. I also got a new Maybelline Color Whisper in  No. 45, Who Wore It Red-er. It's a gorgeous pinky-red and I've been obsessed with it because it's not quite as bold as a full red lip, but it's still a statement color. Well I think that's about it, I love you guys and I'll talk to you later!

Where Beauty Lies

Hey everyone! So I know this post may be strange coming from someone obsessed with makeup, but I really want to stress the importance of inner beauty. I know i know, you've heard it all before, and I'm not saying that you can't still be beautiful with makeup on, I'm just trying to say that makeup isn't meant to cover up everything that makes you unique. Makeup was created to enhance your natural beauty, but that doesn't mean you can't have fun with it and use colors that make you happy. It doesn't mean that you can only wear neutral eyeshadow. It just means that you don't have to wear a black smoky eye with thick eyeliner every single day, and a full face of makeup all the time. I for one love makeup and everything that you can do with it, but I know it's not for everyone and that's absolutely fine! If you're confident without any make up, then you go Glen Coco! If you feel better with some makeup, that's great too, I just think that everyone is beautiful with or without makeup, so just do what you're comfortable with, just do you. And in case you need proof, here's an example that inner beauty is what really counts. I love you guys and I'll talk to you later!

They Say I'm A Dreamer

Hey everyone! So as you know I recently went to see Taylor Swift and do some shopping. It was amazing and such a great weekend, but I definitely spent more money than intended, so some of the beauty products that I've been pining for are now going to have to wait a little longer. But, I thought I would let you in on the beauty products I want so badly, but can't currently afford.

1) MAC Soft & Gentle Mineralized Skin Finish: I've been wanting this product for so long, and have come close to buying it many times, but I have a hard time spending $30 on a product that I'm sure I can find a dupe for. However, this is such a gorgeous highlighting powder that no matter how many other products I try out, this one will probably always be at the top of my wish list.

2) Benefit Cosmetics High Beam: This is another highlighter that I've been lusting after for years, but it is once again out of my budget at the moment, so it's going to have to go on my Christmas list.

3) Smashbox Camera Ready BB Cream: I don't typically branch out when it comes to foundation. Once I find one that I like, I just stick with it. I love the tinted moisturizer from E.L.F. that I've been using for a while, but sometimes I think it would be nice to try a more high end foundation and give my skin the love it deserves!

4) Urban Decay Naked Palette: I absolutely LOVE the naked palettes! They're so beautiful, but so darn expensive! I cannot justify $50 for 12 eyeshadows, when I can find similar colors for a more reasonable price elsewhere. However, these colors are so pretty that I think they will definitely remain on my radar.

5) Sigma Essential Brush Kit in Mrs. Bunny: These brushes are amazing. I have had the pleasure of feeling how incredibly soft they are, but have never actually gotten to use them. $120 for 12 brushes may seem like a decent price to most people, considering the quality of the brushes, but for a college student on a budget it is ridiculously out of my price range, so I'll just have to keep admiring them online.

There are so many amazing products out there, these are only a few off of my long list of products that I want but currently can't have. I hope you enjoyed, be sure to let me know what you think in the comments! I'll talk to you later!

It Starts At The Roots

Hey everyone! If you've been reading my blog for a while, then you know that earlier this summer I dip-dyed my hair purple. It faded really fast though and turned into a light pink, so I decided to go over it with pink dye that I had left over from last summer. I love the way it looks, but dying your hair will leave you with damaged ends, so to take care of my ends, these are the products I use everyday:
Tresemme color protection shampoo and conditioner
Suave Kids detangler
Bed Head split end mender
Aussie hair insurance shine heat protectant
Conair curling wand (usually)

So, because I generally use heat on my hair, These products that I use really help with split ends and make my hair super soft. If you have any questions leave a comment and I'll talk to you later!

You're Beautiful, Every Little Piece Love

Hey everyone! I'm sorry I've been so absent lately, I've been busy getting ready to go back to school and everything, so it's been pretty hectic. But I'm back now and I'm so excited to tell you guys that I'm going to see Taylor Swift on Friday!!!!! Wooohooo! I can't wait! It's the third time I've seen her, so I'm going all out (I'll be sure to take a picture of my outfit for all of you to see). I'm also going to be doing a bit of back to school shopping so I'll definitely try to do a haul on everything I end up buying. I've been waiting for this concert for 9 months so it's crazy that it's less than a week away! I'll be sure to do a post tomorrow that isn't all rambly, but I just wanted to do a quick update. P.S....Did anyone else watch Pretty Little Liars tonight?! Oh my gosh was it crazy. Anyways, I love you guys and I'll talk to you later!

The Best Four Years

Hey everyone! I hope you're having an amazing day! My day has been pretty laid back so I decided I would do an advice post. This year I'm going to be a sophomore in college, and freshman year was really difficult for me, so I decided to help you guys get through it. Freshman year is stressful to say the least. It's a new environment, new people, harder classes, and a load of responsibility. I went into college with the mindset that it would be like high school, and boy was I wrong. I've always been a bit of a procrastinator, which wasn't that big of a deal in high school, but in college it will make or break you. I also went into it taking classes that were too difficult for me and taking a bunch of hard classes at the same time (which I don't recommend). So college got off to a pretty rough start, not to mention, even though I was only 40 minutes from home I got extremely homesick. The way that I cured this was by making a lot of really great friends who helped take my mind off of things. I also got involved in a sorority. Getting involved in a group is a great way to start off your college experience. Throughout high school I was never involved in and groups, so being a part of one now makes me really happy. College is definitely a wakeup call, but if you prepare yourself correctly, there should be no problem! So to summarize: be prepared, get involved, don't overwhelm yourself with difficult classes, DON'T PROCRASTINATE, and try to enjoy yourself because as our parents say, college will be the best four years of our lives, even though it may seem like hell right now. I love you guys and I'll talk to you later!

Tailgates and Tanlines

Hey everyone! First of all, I want to thank everyone who has checked out my blog. I started this simply out of boredom, and now I love letting you all in on my tips and tricks. I've now gotten up to 600 views, and while it may not seem like much, but it really means a lot to me that some of you actually care enough to at least check it out. Anyways, thanks again, but today I wanted to talk about something that I take very seriously, which is different tanning methods and the importance of sunscreen. I'm naturally very pale, and have always been pretty insecure about it so I like to use self tanners and go out in the sun once in a while. My current favorite self tanner is the St. Tropez Bronzing Mousse. It comes out as a foam (hence the mousse) and, my favorite part, it dries really fast so there is no waiting. It's also a sunless self tanner so it's non-damaging to the skin. I will admit it comes out looking kind of green, but once it's on your body it looks so good. It's really dark at first, so what I like to do is apply it at night, sleep with it on, then take a shower in the morning to wash it off. The only bad thing about this tanner is that it will stain your hands if you don't use a mitt, but if you buy it from the St. Tropez website then the mitt is included (you can also find it at Sephora). It is quite pricy so if you're on a budget then it may not be the tanner for you, but for the price, the quantity is fantastic considering it lasts so long. I bought the 240 ml bottle last summer and it still isn't gone, so it's a pretty good deal. Now on to sunscreen. I definitely have strong feelings about sunscreen considering my grandma and father both had skin cancer, and at the age of 17, I had pre-cancer. That being said, I do still enjoy sitting in the sun, but I'm a strong believer that you can still get tan while using sunscreen with a high SPF. If you believe that tanning beds are good for you, that's your opinion, and I have my own. Whatever your opinions are on the sun and protection, just be cautious, because you don't have to have skin cancer running in your family for it to happen to you. That being said, whether you have pale or dark skin, you're all beautiful, so do whatever makes you feel confident! So enough blabbering...Thanks again for checking out my blog, I love you and I'll talk to you later!

It's Been A Honky Tonky Week!

Hey everyone! I'm sorry it's been so incredibly long since I last posted to you guys. It's been quite a busy...10? ish days and, while its no excuse, it's been so nice out that all I've been doing is being outside. Quick update: I went to Lake Tahoe last week for 5 days which was absolutely amazing! Then I went home and got to sleep in my own bed for a total of one night, and now I'm writing to you from the Willamette Country Music Festival which is a three day long music festival featuring Carrie Underwood, Brad Paisley, Darius Rucker, Hunter Hayes, Eli Young Band, and more. So I've been camping out here which is fun but its so hard to do a beauty post when I'm sleeping in a tent and don't have any of my new products with me to show you. But don't worry! I should be able to get back in the swing of things when I get home tomorrow and get to sleep in my own bed, can take a shower, and don't have to use a porta-potty. Anyways, I love you guys and I'll talk to you later!

Confessions of a Beauty-A-Holic

Hey everyone! As you probably know, I'm a bit of a shopaholic, which is a habit that is very hard to change. That being said, I went to the store today to get one thing and came out with five beauty products and two shirts...oops! So I originally had gone to the store specifically to get Essie Bikini So Teeny nail polish because I'm absolutely obsessed with it, but while I was at the store I saw another nail polish that looked really pretty (Sally Hansen Hard As Nails Xtreme Wear in Blue It) so I tested it and it was beautiful so I had to get it. I know I've already done a post about the Essie nail polish, so as you know I've been wanting it for so long, and after doing much research and using it a few times, I finally got it. I also realized that I was almost out of mascara while I was at the store so I got a new one as well as a new brow gel which I'm also almost out of. Then, of course, I had to look at the makeup brushes and saw a beauty blender (which I have been wanting to try for a long time) so I got that as well. All in all, it was a very productive shopping trip. I had planned to do a special post for you guys today but I was spending the whole day cleaning my room and didn't get a chance to do what I had originally planned, so hopefully I will get that up soon. Also, I'm going on vacation for five days tomorrow, then the day after I get back I go to the Willamette Country Music Festival for three days, so it's going to be a very busy nine days. So, if I don't get a post up everyday that's why and I'm sorry but I promise I'll get back into the routine after vacation. I hope you guys enjoyed this extremely long post and I'll talk to you later!

The Girly Things In Life

Hey everyone! So remember when I showed you that picture of the BEAUTIFUL vanity? I don't think I ever told you that I actually ended up buying it! I love it so much and got it for an amazing price. The colors are perfect (anyone who knows me knows pink and turquoise are my colors) and the floral pattern on the bench is just adorable. This is what it looks like in my room:
It basically matches my personality perfectly and I'm so happy with it. I'm thinking of starting to film some tutorials and what not now that I have somewhere to do it, so let me know if that's something you would like to see, and be sure to check back tomorrow, because I have something really good planned!

Shoes Galore!

Hey everyone! There are so many topics that I could just talk about for hours, one of which being shoes. I would do a shoe collection post but it would be the longest post ever! My shoe style definitely depends on my mood, but when it comes to heels or flats I typically choose flats. However, lately I've been buying more heels and, though you may not believe it, some heels such as wedges can be extremely comfortable. My favorite places to get shoes are Payless, DSW, Target, Nike, and Journeys. As you can tell, I'm a little bit shoe obsessed. My favorite styles are riding boots, sandals, converse, and Toms. So, as always, leave comments with suggestions for future posts and I'll talk to you later!

My favorite sandals: (found at Target)

I'd shake it for Luke Bryan!

Hey everyone! Sorry I've been MIA for a few days. On Thursday I had to work all day then came home and went straight to urgent care and was there for three hours, so you can imagine I wasn't in the best of moods. Also, I unexpectedly got a free ticket to the Oregon Jamboree. If you don't know what that is, it's a country music festival held in Sweet Home, Oregon that hosts some amazing artists. This weekend I got the pleasure of seeing Toby Keith, Luke Bryan (who is so attractive), Kip Moore, Jerrod Niemann, Thomas Rhett, Neal McCoy, Brett Eldredge (who held my hand!), and others. It was so much fun and the performances were fantastic. I had been wanting to go to it ever since I found out that Luke Bryan would be there, but it was too expensive, so when my friend got me a free ticket I was ecstatic! So here's a video to show just how close I got to Brett Eldredge, and there will be more beauty related posts coming soon!

Blue Isn't Just For Boys

Hey everyone! So I know I've already done a post on umy favorite nail polishes, but the other day I finally got to try the nail polish that has attracted my eye for so long, Essie's Bikini So Teeny. This nail polish is such a pretty baby blue/periwinkle color that looks great with a tan. Essie nail polishes are a bit on the expensive side but they are high quality and there are so many beautiful colors. I would love to try out In the Cabana, Mint Candy Apple, and Turquoise and Caicos (If you couldn't tell I love blue). Essie nail polishes typically come out to be about $8 which is quite expensive for something like that, but like I said, you're paying for the quality. If any of you have tried out these nail polishes let me know what you think and I'll talk to you later!

The World is a Dangerous Place

Hey everyone! I'm sorry I didn't post yesterday, it was kind of a rough day and I went to bed much earlier than I normally do, so I just ran out of time. For those of you who don't know, I was in a car accident yesterday but I'm not injured and my car is, for the most part, fine. However, I had never been in an accident before and while it wasn't my fault, it was still really scary and I was shaking in my boots basically all night. So today I decided that I would hold off on the original blog I had planned and just let you guys what's going on in my life. As always, if you have any suggestions for upcoming posts let me know and I'll talk to you later!

Walk the World Like It's Your Runway

Hey everyone! There are so many fashion trends out there that I see on runways and the red carpet that I can't see anyone wearing in everyday life, but one trend I've come to love is the high-low hemline. I wasn't a huge fan of this trend at first, but it's definitely grown on me and now I'm finding the cutest high-low dresses and skirts. Many of the clothing items are a bit too fancy to wear shopping or to class, but I have found some adorable skirts and dresses that can be made casual with simple sandals or dressed up with heels and a blazer or statement jewelry. Leave me a comment telling me what your favorite trend is and if you like this kind of post and I'll talk to you later!

Lashes For Days

Hey everyone! Today I wanted to review the mascara that I have been obsessed wit for about two years now. I used to try out different mascaras all the time, trying to find one that was perfect for me, and while trying out different brands, I came across the Covergirl Lashblast Volume mascara and I am in love! It's the best mascara that I have ever used, but I know it's not for everyone. I like it because I have naturally long eyelashes, but they aren't as thick or dark as I like them, and that's what this mascara is really good at. If you're looking for length, this isn't the mascara for you, but if you just want them to curl and have volume then it's perfect. I usually use either the brown one or the brown black mascara because I think they make my eyelashes look more natural than black mascara does. If you have any mascara suggestions let me know and I'll talk to you later!

My Everyday Makeup

Hey everyone! I am definitely not one of those girls who wears a full face of makeup everyday (who has time for that?) but I do tend to lean toward the same products everyday because once I get in a routine, I usually don't change it much except for maybe my eyeshadow (although it's almost always neutral). Nailed it!

Hey everyone! There are many things that I don't like to do because I don't have the patience, but painting my nails is something I can always make time for. Yes, it would be easier to just go to the salon every two weeks and have someone do my nails for me, but my wallet would be very unhappy with me and why spend so much money on getting them done when I can just paint them myself? I also love changing my nail color often so having something like acrylic nails doesn't really work. As far as nail polish goes, I love OPI but I can't really justify spending $8 on a nail polish that I probably won't even finish (poor college student here) so I usually buy the Sally Hansen Hard As Nails Xtreme Wear nail polishes. They have a great consistency and there are so many beautiful colors to choose from. Even better? They cost less than $3. Some of my favorite colors from this brand are: Celeb City, which is a very sparkly silver, Blue Me Away, which is a bright sky blue, Pacific Blue, which is a periwinkle-blue color, and Coral Reef, which is a coral that has more pink tones than orange tones. These are amazing nail polishes so if you try them out let me know, or tell me your favorite nail polishes and I'll talk to you later!

Getting Creative With Colors

Hey everyone! Recently I tried out another product that I had never tried before (I know, I'm addicted) and I am in LOVE! I've tried gel liners before but never wanted to pay for a color other than black because I thought, "when will I ever wear that" and "that's too much money for such a bold, not very wearable color". I then decided to just use colorful eyeshadow on an angled eyeliner brush whenever I want a pop of color, but that doesn't stick quite as well as gel liners do. So the result? A reasonably priced gel liner that is pigmented, stays on all day, and has the perfect consistency. BH Cosmetics has gel liners that are only $3.50 and it comes in so many colors, some of them bold, and some of them more of a neutral. The one that I have is in the color sand which is a really pretty shimmery gold color. It looks amazing on the bottom lashline and I can't wait to try more colors. And another tip: these don't only have to be used as eyeliner, they can be used as an eyeshadow base, the lighter colors can be used as a highlight, and the pinks can be used as blush or a lip stain. If any of you try these out let me know. And I definitely recommend trying out BH Cosmetics for affordable makeup with amazing quality. I hope you enjoyed and I'll talk to you later!

Add Some Color To Your Life

Hey everyone! Recently I tried out a new lip product and I am in love! The Maybelline Color Whispers are simply amazing! I had never tried them before because they are $6 and I have a really hard time spending money on lipsticks because I never know what it will actually look like once it's on my lips, however, this price is really good compared to similar lip products from other brands. The color I got is number 40, Orange Attitude.

When you look at the packaging it looks like a really scary bright orange, but on the lips it shows up more as a red-orange and is really pretty. These lip products are super moisturizing and I would definitely recommend that you try them out and I'll talk to you later!

Dream a Little Dream of Me

Hey everyone! Today I decided to get crafty and made a dream catcher. It turned out so well that I started thinking about other things I could make to decorate my room. There are so many amazing DIYs out there (Pinterest is fantastic) and I decided to make some decorations for my friends for their apartments. Since I'm living in my sorority this year, I don't get to do much decorating to my room, but I now have so many ideas for when I finally do live in my own apartment. I'm not going to go into detail about how I made the dream catcher because there are countless videos on Youtube about it (I learned from this one http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fZ-SRBowzeM), but if you have any specific questions like where I got anything just leave a comment and I'll talk to you guys later!

Hello Hair!

Hey everyone! As many of you may know, I dip-dyed my hair a few weeks ago and I have gotten so many questions about whether or not I did it myself, what kind of dye I use, etc. When I first dyed it, the ends were a dark, vibrant purple, but over time it's faded to a light purple/pink color which I absolutely love. The dye I used did fade really fast, but last summer I used the same dye in a different color and it lasted for months, so it may just depend on the color. As far as the dye goes I use Splat semi-permanent dye and basically just take sections of hair, bleach it, wash the bleach out, then add the dye. The directions are super easy to follow and I like doing dip-dye because the precision and accuracy doesn't matter; the different amounts of hair dyed makes it look more edgy and unique. If you try it out or have any suggestions for different brands of dye, leave a comment below and I'll talk to you later!

It's the Perfume Things in Life

Hey everyone! Sorry I didn't blog last night I just ran out of time. Anyways, the blog that was supposed to go up yesterday is a lotion/body spray/perfume blog. I realize that I have a ridiculous amount of all of these things which is why I'm not going to go through everything in the pictures. My favorite products in this category that I own are my Victoria's Secret Pure Seduction (I have the body lotion, perfume, and body spray), my Taylor Swift Wonderstruck perfume, and Bali Mango by Bath and Body Works. If you have any questions about any of the products in the pictures then leave me a comment and I'll talk to you later!

If you ever get the chance to see him live (and you like country music) jump at it because he's an amazing singer live, and he's very attractive for an older gent ;) Tomorrow I'm planning on doing a collection blog but as always, leave a comment if you have any suggestions for upcoming blogs and I'll talk to you tomorrow! Radiant in Neutrals

Hey everyone! I've decided to kick off my blog with a short product review. One of my favorite makeup products lately has been my BH Cosmetics 88 Neutrals Palette. I'm usually not into wearing a lot of eye makeup, but since I got this palette, I have been wearing eyeshadow everyday! The pigment of the colors is amazing (especially for the price) and all of the colors are super wearable since it's a neutral palette. Neutral doesn't always have to be boring, which is proven by the purple, orange, red, and silver tones that are in this palette. The size of the colors themselves are pretty small, but if there is a color that you like, it's really cheap to just buy the individual color online. However, I've noticed that even the small colors will last a very long time because since they are so pigmented, you don't have to use as much product. If any of you have tried out this product or have any questions about it leave a comment telling me what you think! I hope you enjoyed!

It's Only the Beginning...

Hey everyone! My name is Maisie and I'm a normal girl who suffers of boredom and needs a way to occupy my time. I really love anything beauty and fashion related, so most of my posts will probably be product reviews and the like. I doubt anyone will actually see this but if you do then feel free to leave a comment with anything you would like me to blog about and I will be happy to give it a go! I'm excited to start my blog and see where it goes! Well, bye for now! :)
