Imperfection Is Beauty

Hey everyone! Happy Superbowl Sunday! (Go Seahawks!) I hope you're all doing well! I don't know about you, but I have midterms this week so that's stressful, but at least I have you guys to keep me calm :) Anyway.. I wanted to talk to you guys about eating habits. Now I for one love food. Especially food that's not so good for you like pizza and french fries. However, for about three years now I have suffered from migraines. At first I thought they were due to stress, but considering the fact that I haven't been very stressed lately yet I'm still getting them, kind of rules that one out. I've tried doing relaxation techniques but they don't really work for me, so that left me with two more options. I could go on medication (which I didn't want to do), or I could try the anti-inflammatory diet. So, I'm now on a very strict diet that, even though the foods are limited, has left me feeling really good. It's a gluten-free, dairy-free, sugar-free, caffeine-free, sugar substitute-free, low sodium diet. So basically I eat a lot of fruits and vegetables, almond butter, sugar-free granola, almond milk, and things like that. That being said, I am not on this diet to loose weight, although it's a bonus, and I want you all to know that you don't have to be slim to be beautiful. Everyone is built differently and that's what makes us unique, so embrace it and, from the wise words of Oscar Wilde, "Be yourself; everyone else is already taken."

The Hunt Is On!

Hey everyone! I hope you're all doing well! I wanted to just make a quick post to tell you about an app that I'm currently obsessed with! It's called The Hunt, and basically you can upload a picture of something you've been looking for and other people using the app will try to locate it for you! It's so much fun to also help others find what they're looking for! (especially makeup ;) ). You're All I Adore

Hello everyone! First off, I know I say this all the time but thank you again for helping me reach over 1500 page views. You guys are amazing! I hope you're all doing well! So recently I can't stop thinking about makeup. I mean that's pretty typical for me, but its been so bad lately that it's pretty much all I think about, (other than school of course). I got a Sephora gift card for Christmas and have no idea what to get! There are so many things I want! Do I get the Naked palette? (the original because it's my fav) Or do I get Benefit Hoola bronzer? Too Faced Chocolate Solei bronzer? New brushes? I don't know! So now you understand why it's been weighing heavily on me. I mean it's a very important thing for me to be spending my time obsessing over ;) But anyways, if you have any other suggestions of products I should try, leave a comment or send me a message and I'll talk to you later!

Just Keep Me Up Where the Light Is

Hello everyone! I hope you are all having a fantastic week. Most of you are probably back at school like myself, which may or may not be a positive thing but I like to look at all things on the bright side! I hope your breaks all went well!  Today I learned how to crochet which was really exciting because now I can make headbands and what not. I'm going to try to make an infinity scarf and possibly a blanket but for now that's all a little too advanced. No onto the main point of my rambling. I wanted to thank you guys so much for looking at my blog! I reached another thousand which brings me up to 1400. When I first started this blog I honestly didn't think I would get over 100 page views, so when I reached 1000 it was such an amazing feeling and I really can't thank you enough for your support. That being said, I would really appreciate any feedback that you have or requests for new posts or just hearing from you to say you're enjoying my posts! I Wrapped It Up and Sent It

Hello everyone! Merry Christmas!! I hope you all had a wonderful day and not only got everything you asked for, but also gave other people what they had wanted. I for one am very excited because I got a tablet that I have been wanting for school as well as MAC mineralized skin finish in soft and gentle which I have been wanted for a long time as I mentioned in my "They Say I'm a Dreamer" post. I also got some smaller things, but my big present was my vanity which I have mentioned in previous posts that I got earlier this summer. I was feeling fancy today, so I decided to do my makeup. I know, I do my makeup almost everyday. BUT, I don't usually bother on Christmas because my family is very laid back and we don't really do much, so normally I just wear my pajamas with my hair in a ponytail and no makeup. Today I did my makeup similarly to how I did it yesterday, but I mixed the gold that I used in my crease with a light green so it added a subtle Christmas-y hint. Anyway, I hope you had a fantastic Christmas and I will talk to you all later!
